This is indeed a great book, but note that the 2nd edition, although in a larger format, lacks the very funny marginal symbols of the 1st edition--instead, a more regular set of symbols, not nearly so clever, has been used--and also lacks the "woodcut" illustrations of the 1st edition which (IMHO) lent the book a good deal of its charm. Apparently the new material has been made easy to find, by setting it off in shaded boxes, but there is not a great deal of it. On the whole, I think the 1st edition is preferable.
