Comments to Black Man/Thirteen by Richard Morgan

Have little to disagree with you and Rob but what I have goes: (a) I didn't find the story slow at any point. (b) I was both intrigued and disappointed by the ending. First, the disappointment: the Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid final paragraph. Then, the intrgue: the relationship and conversation between Marsalis and the ostensible villain. What that means for Marsalis' future, what that means for all the 13s around the world, for those on Mars. There is a fine story there waiting to be written.
