I love your Bronze Knight series and keep reading them over and over again. And finally after reading the first and second one a fourth time I found something that confused me. In the first book, the Eyes of God, there's your character Ghost. You mention that he is in Grimhold visiting his children. But in the second book, the Devils Armor, Ghost is conversing with Lukien and the Bronze Knight asks why Ghost doesn't have a "girl" which would mean he isn't married. Right? So was this a mistake you made or did I mis-read?
