Comments to The Skewed Throne by Joshua Palmatier

Submitted by Ranke Lidyek (Jan 06, 2009)

This really is a criminally overlooked series. Varis is a special, rare character in fantasy. The second novel amps up the tension and stakes considerably, yet maintains the wonderful, personal feel that highlights Joshua's novels and makes them unique to the genre. Personally, I enjoyed this series far more than other, more celebrated (and hyped) novels released that same year. Palmatier is an author to watch.
