Comments to The Painted Man by Peter V. Brett

Submitted by steve dresler (Aug 07, 2010)

I recently picked up Brett's "Warded Man" (in the UK titled "The Painted Man"). I enjoyed it enough that the following week I purchased "The Desert Spear". Brett's second book is even better than the first. The characters become more developed and he delves further into the nuances of good and evil. I also like the setting for the novel--the feudal middle ages but one occurring after a period of industrialization and scientific exploration. I am waiting impatiently for the 3rd. Steve

I just picked this book up at random was pleasently suprised that it was such a page turner. the story moves a long nicely without getting too bogged down and i cant wait for the next book.

Crikey, two spelling mistakes asociated (at least) with one review! "It's" instead of its and "quotet" instead of quoted. Cheers, Fred
