Comments to All Clear by Connie Willis
Submitted by Anonymous (Dec 08, 2010)Hello -I enjoyed your reviews of Blackout and All Clear, but there is one false assumption you made in the first review and carried over to the second. You wrote that we were following a fourth character, Gerald Phipps, but the fourth character we are following is named Ernest, and he may or may not be Phipps.
Submitted by Anonymous (Dec 08, 2010)i just want to say that i enjoyed both Blackout and all clear. the characters in this story were,compasionate,brave and caring. i really didn't want to stop reading this book. i fully understood why they were trapped during the Bombing raids on London and that the drops were not opening,but my question is why polly and the end of the book,looks at colin and realizes the resemblance to someone that she couldn't see before. that eileen knew. and why she called colin her little boy. I have an idea. let me know. thanks
