I enjoyed the three books although i felt they were quite deep compared to many others out there. I was excited about Kellhus and his abilities and was slightly dissapointed that we did not see more action than we did. I was also very impressed with the Gnosis as it really seemed to put a new slant on magic as used in other fantasy settings. Worth reading!

I just finished reading "Warrior Prophet" today. I haven't been glued to a fantasy series like this in over 10 years. My god, I hate R. Scott Bakker for being the writer I want to be. Tolkien? You do yourself too little credit man. You're better, and I love Tolkein. Good as he was, he didn't have nearly the understanding of the human condition. Nor did he have the honesty. Nor was the action nearly as good, intelligent, or exciting. And I love Tolkein. Damn you Bakker.
