Comments to Stormcaller: Prologue by James L

Back to story

Submitted by onions (Oct 27, 2005)

Man, those Galgariths are horrible! I've gotten a bit jaded over the last few years, but the descriptions of those lipless mouths made even me shudder. So the beginning is very good. I also like the Frankensteinesque development (okay, the stone slab thing seemed a bit generic, but I bought it anyway because the rest was intriguing). I didn't like the dialogue so much because it reminded me of countless mafia scenes on tv. It didn't seem very original compared with the rest. You could take some gangster scene and use exactly the same dialogue and no one would notice. onions
