I dreamt of her again, once more.
Her lips placed intently upon my own.
Her atonement instantaneous, inside my mind.
I could stay here with her in my arms, for all time

But Iím not allowed

She places her gentle touch upon ancient, but still opened wounds.
Her head now resting on my shoulder, I whisper strong meaningful words.
"I miss you."
But my confession goes unheard.
And I wake, tears of course.

Why after so long, does she still walk amongst my dreams.
She will reside there, for eternity it seems.
