We look upobn The Stars no more,
trudging through desolate daze with cast down eyes,
we've swallowed each image before and before,
vast knowledge a figment; distant cousin of lies.
A petty petty scrambling mass
complicates, mars each simple step;
monotonous paths each one like the last
aging the young snapping Innocence neck.
within monotonous step,
We find ourselves like each nomad before,
old mans stature, bowed arthritc neck,
looking to The Stars no more...
