Closed Eyes,
a prison for lies.
At the lids her problem pries.
Deep inside a child cries,
behind the shades of closed eyes.
Closed Eyes,
a river of 'whys?'
consisting of uncountable guys,
broken friendships, family ties,
hidden behind her closed eyes.
Closed eyes,
late night sighs,
vision blurred from nightly cries.
Flowing potential inside lies
barred behind her closed eyes.
Closed Eyes,
Closed Eyes,
open, see the sunrise.
Embraced by darkness, slow demise
when living behind your closed eyes.
