She hides her face behind the clouds
Then shines her fullest strength.
When I'm sad she comes around
And stays with me at length.
She watched my tears fall all those nights
I cried myself to sleep.
Sheltered in her softest light
She kept my slumber deep.
Late in the night she sings to me,
If I ask her nicely.
Her voice is sweet as can be,
Humming to me softly.
So in the dark I sit alone,
Gazing at her beauty.
Soft white glow and silver tone
Calm my soul completely.
