She says she loves him
Whispers small words to him,
Not attended to be heard
Yet they are
Haunting me day and night

She asks me questions,
I donít want to answer
How would I answer?
If I said no what would she say?
If I said yes what would she do?

Yet I say not a word.
I hold my silence,
To me to protect me,
From an answer I donít want to give.

I know that day will come.
Nothing can protect me
I am alone, unable to say a word
Choked by a fear,
Of what will come in the future.

Who can save me from my own self?
