Emerald Tears by Natalie Norment

I used to be alone
Standing in the forest of green
Tears would come out of my eyes
Showing the loneliness that I had

But then I remember something
About the words my mother used to tell me
She said, Never give up on your dreams,
In the end, everything will be just fine

So now I've stopped my tears
Whenever I think of you
Your eyes and your smile
The most beautiful thing in the world

I wish you weren't so distant from me
So I can hold you in my arms
Oh, did anyone tell you that
I feel free when I'm with you

The fire in my soul is burning
I know this must be love
So why don't we ignore our pain
And hold each other close?

My only wish is to be with you
So please don't leave me in the cold
Our happiness will be always be forever
In the memory of our Emerald Tears

Passion burns in our hearts
It fills us with warmth deep inside
So warm that I can almost feel you
Right in your arms, holding me tight

Oh, how I wish this moment would never end
So let's runaway to the neverending ocean of stars
And did I ever tell you that I loved you so much?

Let's leave our sorrow and pain
And endure our love together?
Or would you rather hold on
Until something happens to you

How can you be so sure that
Your happiness will never come to you
Just reach out to me and I'll catch you
And we'll be together forever
In the memory of our Emerald Tears

My love, please don't be afraid
You are my everything
You musn't endure in pain
Musn't endure in the sadness you hold

Come with me and let's go to
The endless happiness of our world
Beyond our imagination, I'd rather be
With you in the memory of our....

Emerald Tears....
