to pause for a moment
to look and see the wonder and the mystery of your life
to consider that it was your intention to seek attention
to be seen.
I stop and gaze
at your segmented leggy way of moving
your purposeful climb along my arm
questing for pry
certain of purpose
expecting fulfillment
oblivious to the possibility that a single gesture
