Your most efficient rig
mud-sunk on the bank opposite;
unhooking the thick banana leaf
was like fighting some Amazon thing;
the twinkle in your eyes was
visible all the way across as,
knee-deep in green water
I thrashed and tore through
like an Ape Woman.
