My Road by Whitney Flaming

How do i know this road i'm on is the right one?
Every road has a turn of mistakes and lessons that i will learn
Most roads have trees that cast down shadows of darkness
That i don't know what lurks through
I'm hoping my obstecles are very few
Bolders and bryers block my way
I take detours everyday
As I come to a fork...
the left with a smooth
surface of luscious grass on eitherside
and tree's with fruit where spring waters flow
The right dark with peaks and dirt
Where nothing can grow
dead tree's, and empty hollow
I believe no one will follow
Such feelings of confusion and temptation lied
Wanting someone whom i can confied
