Love's a Snitch! by Dale HarknessDirty little snitch bird perched in his cage,
Dirty little snitch bird is such a sly informer.
Snitch bird, snitch bird, what do you have to say?
Tell me now what you know as I want some dirt today!
What, asks he, do you crave to know this sunny afternoon?
Share with me, for I desire,
to hear of misdeeds to while away the hour!
Are you sure he asks? You may not care for what I have to say!
Snitch bird, snitch bird, tell me anyway!
Pausing briefly, he ruffles his feathers while peeping all about.
Quietly leaning forward, he tweets in my left ear,
Truth be told, we know someone who sneaks about behind closed doors,
one who has sex without a second thought.
Do you still wish to know who does such deeds he softly chirped at me?
Tell me more I say, thinking I've caught my wife in a wicked little web!
You're a crafty little bird who just earned his daily bread.
He spreads his beak ever so wide to let out a noisy squawk,
You’re a sneaky man he caws out loud,
Who diddles other women while the wife is not about.
I told her highness, she hired a lawyer, now it’s the end of your sleazy playboy ways!
Snitch bird, snitch bird, you dirty little turd,
You told her of my wrong doings, you traitorous little bird!
