My Kingdom For A Sword by Keiron TongeTo feel that fire under your skin,
And to realize that hate wells within,
It’s a feeling of deep regret and joy.
A recognition of joyous sin.
To quench hatreds vile thirsts,
Is to give in to greater power,
To be the boot that presses down,
Upon a radiant flower.
A quarrel pitched inside
That’s not just to reveal.
Its to take a whetted knife,
To the love that’s angers seal.
When light gives in to darkness,
Find a balance that decides.
A force that’s there as twilight.
A justice that in the soul resides.
It is not just an ending,
But a sunrise that enlightens.
Its there to quake the black.
And in the breach, it frightens.
Push forth with twilights army!
For justice and revenge!
A love that’s once forgotten.
The sword it will avenge!
There’s nothing that can stop it,
To try would be in vain.
Just let the retribution,
Sweep forth in cleansing pain.
An end to all the darkness,
And a silver world left behind,
A final Elysium.
Where all our souls reside.
On that day I’ll take up sword,
For all I know is right,
To stand amongst the lonely,
To be counted in the fight.
I’ll win or I’ll die trying!
I’ll not let him prevail.
I’d rather die than tell you,
Than tell you that I failed.
TRY TO FIGHT,TRY TO LIVE, TRY TO LOVE…
OR DIE IN THE FIGHT…
IF YOU DO LESS THEN YOU AREN’T A HUMAN BEING…
