Point of View by Allen Chum

Violence. . .
A thing of the past shall always be present in the future,
Like life it never cease to exist,
Always continuing on its journey;
Always appearing when you least expect it.
One reason is because the past mirrors the future,
For violence is never the answer,
But it is the easy answer to our everyday problems.
Here's what some people have to say:
"The past is history,
The future is a mystery,
Today is a gift.
That is why they called it the present."
My message here is clear,
History repeats itself,
And with it so does violence,
But with violence there is always love,
Its twin brother.
