The Saint by Aditya BidikarThey don't know how to love him
They didn't and they couldn't understand
The fires burnt in him they said
In us which never would
The fires kept burning
And he kept getting away
At last they knew
He had to go his way
He went and earned a name
He became as a saint renowned
The fires burn in him they said
In us which cannot be found
At home they know not how to love him
And now they watch from far away
As he seems to find himself
In the crowds that keep coming his way
But they know not what goes in his mind
How alone he is today
For they know not how to love him
And they never could see his way
He sits at night and wonders
Why they sent him away
Did they never like him?
Or was it something he did
But he could never understand them
However much he tried
He knows he could not love them
And somehow he never would
