What am I, I ask.
Am I someone, no one, or just a figment
of our collective imaginations?
I am god to some, devil to many, but nothing to myself.
I am the warrior, with strength and cunning.
I am the sage, with wisdom and knowledge.
But yet I remain, nothing.

I will be the king, the ruler, the majestic.
You will bow, You will submit.
Yet, I am nothing.
Greater minds have risen,
Greater warriors have there been,
but still, I am nothing.
