Joy and Sorrow by Morgan Le Fay
(3 ratings)
| ~JOY AND SORROW~
your raven wings bleed from the feathers
your coming at me with a vicious intent
blood for blood
stab me through the heart with your cruel grin
two swords
named joy and sorrow
the blades etched in blue
a glint of light shines from them
with the purpose to blind you.
your victims lay in my garden
my slautered roses hang from your hands
you wish to make amends
i thrust you back into darkness
how dare you suggest that you could repent
pain is in my eyes
it was you i once loved
how could you betray me?
how dare you choose my swords and break our trust.
where did yesterday go?
before today when you stabbed me in the chest
with sorrow
i miss you dearly
and i pray and hope that you
will bring me joy tommorow.
