Forever In Our Hearts by Barb Montanye Kleeman

As the minute hand moves slowly to the next number, I know that it is only a matter of time before the phone will ring. Time, like life itself slips away without warning. You are alive, yet you are not living. Each time that I see you the pain is more evident.
The anguish shows in your face more and more each day. My heart is breaking for what you must be going through. The tears flow from my eyes without warning.
As the soul slips away, it leaves behind the shell of what once was. I cry not for you, but for those of us who will miss you when you are gone. In the end it is those left behind who suffer.
For you, all suffering is over. You will live on in our memories, and be forever in our hearts.
