What is true to a lie
Heaven never fell
For a true home cannot die

It started with a thought
One of no significance
Dimensions seemed to form
And blind us from our heritage

We walked a lonely road
For some far too illusive
The only side still calling
A son who never left

Though blinded by our guilt
The cloud of grief still forming
We couldn’t let it go
This world of no meaning

Some awoke to truth
Freed from what was not
The damn which held the light
Slowly seeped the lot

Until one day
When you said to me
“How strange it was to dream
“The dream that could not be”
