A distant voice now calls to you
but deep in dreams you do not wake
My mind hears what my heart won't breathe
and leads me to a darkened fate
My kiss upon your waiting lips
turn crimson from the untold lie
Your words become my tempted truth
with disappearing alibis
Walk slowly past the danger near
and cold fury will take you there
My guiding faith and whispered sigh
will lead you to the other side
This place of trust beyond the storms
come find new peace within my arms;
and though I stood behind the stars
another promise takes me far
Call to my soul and bring me home
yearning for the hidden dawn
and you will know that I'm the one
who finds sweet comfort in your song
Forever meets eternity
my eyes believe their secret tune
The symphonies will play again
before we have the will to choose
Tomorrow, turn your strength into
the grasp that saves us from the pain
Remember love, my words will last
as long as night meets falling rain
Though certain sorrow brings your touch
I find the future in your hope
Lay with me now inside our world
where valleys peak and rivers flow
Shadows form around your steps
walk further love, from ailing pride
Fear nothing worse than my true words
