I am in danger of being alone
As alone as I am now

I look to my feet and someone has scrawled
'I have a fetish'
And they have gone on to describe what the fetish is
Though the words become more blurred
After the proclamation

And so I stand and walk
And wonder at the world around me
That is so filled
Brimming and filled and empty
Overflowing with empty

I wonder if you can know
That all I do ever is for me
And me alone, apart and alone
And the part of me that is you

I cry inside my brain
There are tears behind my eyes
I am in danger of being alone
As alone as I am now
