Six souls went forth to have some fun,
not thinking about tommorrow,
A man soon to be on the run,
creation of so much sorrow.

Six souls that will not raise a smile,
six souls that will not raise a child,
such horror on a country mile,
confusion, dread, our minds gone wild.

Six souls for who we can not hope,
seven families that need help to cope,
a man who fears the mobs rope,
not thinking about tommorrow.

The loss of all that we hold dear,
one soul who wishes it was yesterday again,
remembering those who are still here,
how can we all deal with such pain.

But those of us who will grow old,
eventually will conquer pain,
they will ensure the story is told,
things will not be the same again.
