I like your hugs." Darien teased. "Oh Darien, you big hunk of manliness; take me away from this, and we will be together forever!" Serena said over dramatically. Darien laughed.

Josh picked that time to stick his head into the room. "What are you two up to now?" He asked them. "I just gave her a promotion. Apparently i get hugs and proposistions when i do this." Darien answered. "Well when your done with her i'd like to have her back out here working again. We have 3 more customers that want her to make their pizzas. I'd like to know what you do that makes you so popular." Josh said. "It's a secret." Serena said. Josh left and Serena finally stood up. "See you at Drews party tomrrow night." She said and walked out.

Josh came back in and sat down. "Are you ever gonna tell her how you feel? I mean it's so obvious. Well to me anyway. That may just be because i'm gay. You'd better tell her soon." Josh said. "I'm planning on telling her tommrow night before Andrews party. Why?" Darien asked. "Because that guy Alec is here and i heard him say that he was going to ask her out next week." Josh said. "I'll make my move soon. I promise." Darien said.

Serena turned her key in the lock and opened the front door.
"11:00 my ass more like 1:00 in the morning." Serena muttered to herself as she sat her keys on the table. She walked into the kitchen and found a note her mom left for her. 'Serena Theres shrimp scampi and rice with teryaki sauce in the microwave for you. Theres also cheesecake with chocoate sauce in the fridge when your done eating. Dont stay up to late. love mom.' Serena smiled and put 3 minutes on the microwave and went into the living room. She picked up the phone and called Darien. "What?" He answered the phone. "You might think about hiring another store manager. I'm really tempted to kill Josh." Serena answered. "What did he do this time?" Darien asked. "I was scheduled till 11:00 and i just got off 15 minutes ago. Oh well mom left me cheesecake for desert." Serena said "Man i love your moms cheesecake. You should bring it over here and share it with me." Darien said. "The only way i'm coming over there is if i get to sleep in your king sized bed. Is the cheesecake worth the spare bed for the night?" Serena asked "I suppose it is. Have you eaten yet?" he asked "Not yet my foods in the microwave. Mom made scampi and rice. I can bring some of that with me too." Serena said "Yum sounds great. I'll see you in 10?" He asked "I'll be there." she said and hung up. She scribbled a quick note to her parents and headed out of the house food in hand.

She rang the doorbell and Darien opened the door. "Hey you look tired, come in and sit down." he said. He took the bowl of scampi from her, and sat it on the table. They ate and talked about work. After desert Darien rinsed the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

"Serena can i talk to you?" Darien asked "Yeah sure whats up?" she asked from her posistion on the couch. Darien sat down next to her. "We've been friends forever right?" he asked "Yeah, why?" Serena asked. "Serena I have a confession to make." He said.
