"Yup."
He went first, pulled his feet up on to the window, grabbed a shingle, and pulled himself up to the top. He turned around and took my hand. I put my foot on the window and jumped to the top of the playhouse.
I turned around and looked. Wow it was cool. I saw the whole yard. I saw the climbing structure with the slide, the big tree with the swings and that they were covered with snow. I saw the sand box in the ground also covered with snow. I also saw the air conditioner thingy that I was just crying behind. I felt the wind blow my hood off my head and it stung my face. You could smell the new snow smell, it was fresh and reviving. It was beautiful. I loved it. I just wanted to stay sitting there for the rest of my life. Then and there I realized that Josh was not so bad.
I shouted, "I am king of the world!"
Josh laughed, "Wouldn't you be queen?"
I guess I was right, Josh wasn't so bad. He was a great friend. What he is doing now I don't know. He was no "monkey-butt" or "meanie-head". He was just a kid. A kid that did not understand what I wanted to do. I guess I learned a lesson. Like, maybe a person may be teasing you or making fun of you and just don't know how you feel and if you tell them to stop, they just might stop. Then you could end up feeling good, like a king. Or like in my case you may feel like a queen. Like the Queen of the World.
