For days on end, the feverish activity continued around the vessel to the consternation of the villagers who wondered what could be the driving force behind the craziness of those involved in the project.

But, although, forgotten by all now, the men and women chosen by God had preached a message of judgment and destruction of all living things on earth. For over one hundred years they had disseminated the message throughout the land as they had been instructed by Yahweh.

At first only Noah and his wife had gone forth to preach the news to the villagers when they were not busy on the boat's construction, then when their sons were grown and married, they and their wives joined them on the effort to save those who would listen.

A young man, dressed in a robe made of a rough brown material, made exaggerated moves with his arms and torso pointing at something apparently terrifying, judging by the expression of fear on his face. Still pointing to the terrifying thing, he turned to look up to where the great ship rested. "Father, he's coming!" the young man shouted, putting both cupped palms to his mouth to amplify his voice.

Moments later, a very old man looked out one of the square windows of the gigantic vessel, his long white hair and beard flowing in the wind.

"I shall deal with Anak!" the old man yelled.

Two girls leading the last of the animals into the ark paused and looked back at an approaching beast and rider. They then hurried up the ramp, no longer leading the animals, but leaving them behind in their haste to get away from the terrible presence.

Anak made his approach mounted on a gigantic lizard-like animal.

The giant lizard, a nightmare spawned out of the deepest recesses of the demon's father's mind, had large fangs that curved over the upper part of its long snout and enormous horns, straight as light beams, thrusting forward at an upwards angle, the tips of which were adorned with a decomposing human head each. The two rotting heads dripped a dark, thick fluid from its long, matted hair. The heads on the horns bobbed up and down as the beast ambled its way towards the scared youth. The beast drooled bloody saliva, perhaps a remnant of its last meal.

Anak held reins made of very thick rope. He was dressed in a long hooded black robe that covered his entire body except for the thick, muscular arms that held the reins.

The immense beast loomed ever closer thud thudding with its thick, long legs, swaying as it walked, until Anak's hooded head obscured everything beyond it. But all that could be seen of his face were his eyes, shining like two oval fiery-red rubies; his black robe flapping behind him, like a flag in a storm——for a ghastly wind traveled with Anak as if it were part of him wherever he went. The noise the wind made was deafening.

Ominous clouds started forming high overhead. Rain, something never seen since the beginning of time, was impending that very moment.

The huge beast came to a stop in front of the youth, its nozzle almost touching the young man's face.
