"Guy playing the guitar getting an eyeful."
"If he ain't on CD, then yeah, he is. "
"And you're hoping this guy is waiting just to lay on his beach with you?"
"I'm hoping for much more than that but that is where the dream begins."
"Based on last time out?"
"Yeah, two and a half years ago. He asked; I said I would."
"You know that's just prodigal thinking, don't you? You know, I get to go do whatever the hell I want to do and when I come back nothing is changed, all is forgiven, and we go fatten the steer."
"Sometimes, it works that way."
"Sometimes is a lot less often than the stories lead you to believe."
"But sometimes encompasses at least one time, and this time it's my time."
"And that's why the dog vomited in the first place."
"What dog?
"The one that comes back to it's vomit."
"Like the fool returns to her folly."

Watching her walk down the gangway, the friend thought "Yes, you shall. The question is whether it's there or here."
