She removed the heavy hip waders revealing her smooth legs. She had worn a tight, short blue dress with pink trim. It hugged every curve of her body and it made her look hot. Many men had said so in the past, and Jamie himself had told her how good it looked on her. She realized it was not the most practical outfit now that she was here. Jaime set up the tent and was off gathering the wood before she even started buttering the bread. What was she doing here? How would they ever survive? Though she had no doubt about his ability to live off the land, she was a city girl. City girls didn't play in the mud or lay on the ground, they ordered room service and went clubbing.

She thought of her friends and what they must be doing right then. Jenny was probably already hammered and hanging off some guy. Paula would be dancing up a sweat. Keith would be going outside for a smoke while Cindy watched his beer. She longed to be back in the city, to be with her friends again. She would just have to tell him this was stupid and she wanted to go home.

Jaime walked back into the small clearing with an armload of wood. Sweat glistened on his brow as he dropped it in a pile near the tent. He pulled off his shirt and threw it in the tent. His muscles rippled as he took some wood and built a fire. He was so serious as he worked at the fire, the look on his face brought a smile to hers.

"Sandwiches are done." her voice took on that singsong quality.

She hated it when her voice did that, she felt like a TV mother when she talked like that, but she couldn't help herself around him. He was so good looking and she wanted him to love her as much as she loved him.

He sat on the ground beside her and took the offered plate. With a mouthful of food he began to discuss his ideas for their home.

"I think this spot will be big enough, it seems dry for several acres. If we clear the area over there," he gestured with his sandwich, "then we'll have more than enough wood to build the cabin. Then we'll need to get some pumps in here to dry enough land to build a driveway. Once that's done we can start bringing in supplies. I think this will be a good spot, we might even end up with a small lake once we've dried out the surrounding area."

"A lake would be nice, but I don't want anything slimy in it. Make sure it's clean okay?"

He chuckled as he took another bite.

"Baby, it's a lake, not a swimming pool. I promise to do my best, and I won't stock it with fish or anything that might nibble on those cute little toes."

"Good, I like my toes, and only you are allowed to nibble them."

He playfully grabbed at her ankle, she squealed and kicked gently as he pulled her ankle to his mouth. Standing, he pulled her by the ankle into their tent as he grunted in his caveman voice.

"No food, need love."

She wiggled in his grasp, playing hard to get always made him more vigourous. She knew she was no match for him, but rather than scare her, it made her feel safe. He was a loving tender man, and he cared for her. Once inside the tent, she was done with pretense, she wanted him more than she had wanted anyone.

Frantically they ripped at each other's clothes with animal need. His lovemaking was rough, yet not painful. He seemed to sense her need for him, or maybe he felt that same desire. She felt no need to hold back and she vocalized her desire right through to satisfaction without fear of anyone overhearing them.

It was dark outside by the time he rolled to the ground beside her, panting from his heroic effort. She rolled over and lay her head on his chest, enjoying the afterglow. His chest moved rhythmically beneath her as she played with a hair that tickled her nose. She was as happy as she thought a girl could be, there was nothing better than the feeling of his embrace. She drifted off to sleep as he stroked her hair.
