They quickly put out the fire on Peters leg and called for medical assistance on the radio.

"What happened kid?" asked the first security guard.

"He!" Peter said pointing at Jake. "He gave me an explosive and tried to kill me!"

Jake turned serious as the guards turn to him. He took a step back and collided with a huge guard that stepped behind him.

Peter saw another come near and both took Jake into custody as two medics approached to take care of him. They cut off the jean and attended to the burn in his leg. Some moments later a cop came and interviewed Peter.

"Can you tell me what happened?" The cop asked.

"Jake gave me a Pen drive that turned out to be a bomb." He said with a worried expression. "I was lucky I didn't put it in my jacket pocket. It would have killed me."

"Thank you," Said the policeman as he wrote everything down. "We'll be pressing charges for assault and attempt of murder."

"Thanks," said Peter.

After the cop finished all the paperwork Carla helped Peter walk back to his car and get in.

"Are you sure you can drive back home?" Carla asked.

There was an uncomfortable silence as Peter stared at his left bandaged leg. Carla, who was leaning on the driver's window, shifted her view to the police car leaving with Jake inside.

"The plan worked great!" Peter said smiling to himself. "He got what he deserved. I am just glad that you told me beforehand so I could prepare. That liquid alcohol made the perfect flame. It hurts now, but it was worth it. He will never again play a prank on me. I sure got him what he deserved, didn't I?"

"Yes," she said coldly looking away. "You did."

Carla then turned around and walked back to the mall leaving Peter sitting alone in his car looking stunned. When she was back inside, she stopped and looked at her reflection on a glass door. She smiled.

"Yes," she said to her reflection. "YOU did."
