(Page 2 of 2) The Parable of Doubt by Rob Garbin
(2 ratings)
| (36) "Command of me as you need my Lord Savior!" said the man. (37) The Lord's disciples were amazed by his recognition of the Savior for none in Hendal had known him before this day. (38) Rising, the Savior lifted the prostrate man.
(39) "Go to the Temple and show yourself unto the Elders. (40) Say unto them that the Father has sent you as a messenger and that their days are short. (41) Let all the congregation see the miracle wrought here in the Father's name."
(42) Immediately, the man left for the Temple. (43) When he had shown the Elders his vigor, he turned to the congregation and said, "No longer should you trust the words of the Elders without question. (44) The Lord Savior has told me a word sent from the Father for the teachings of the Elders. (45) The word is Doubt."
(46) The Elders, being afraid of the congregation, took counsel among themselves. (47) After some measure of deliberation, they ended the day's sermon promising to consult the words of the father. (48) In secret; however, they began to plot the Savior's downfall as was foretold in the book of Enthall.
