SUMMARY: The Lekers, a violent reptile race, make first contact with the an unknown enemy. Tentions arise and the threat of Intergalactic War looms. Read to find out what happens in, The Limera Conflict

Stealthy and silently the Leker ship crept through the darkness of space. With the slyness of a fox and the camouflage of a chameleon it moved through the cosmos searching for its prey. Sonar and preying eyes looked over the depths of eternity, for the faintest signs of their prey. Armed to the teeth with weaponry of mass destruction, the Leker ship stood prepared to unleash both annihilation and destruction upon any foolish enough to meet it.

With the patience of an experience predator, the Leker ship waited quietly for traces of the unknown ship. Reptiles hungry for flesh to rip and tear manned the ship's stations, diligently awaiting the appearance of the enemy starship. A silent ping went off in one of the monitors as a ship appeared on radar. The distance was vast, but the enemy ship was spotted. A silent roar of approval washed over the deck, as the Lekers aimed their vessel for an intercept course.

Hundreds of Leker Warriors prepared themselves for battle in the ships boarding pods. Strapping on Neo-Titanium armor and Mikara blades. Talons were sharpened and gear was double and triple checked as the Lekers prepared for war. Many of the boarding party were experienced Veterans, old and battle hardened soldiers who took killing as an art, not a frenzy. Fighters were prepped for launch and the ship's offensive weapons were loaded. Beams of untold destruction were charged as sub-nuclear explosives were loaded.

As the Leker ship drew ever closer to the enemy vessel, new telemetry was available as the ship's sensors got a better look at their prey. Streams of data washed over the ship's computers, as impatient eyes waited for the information to make sense. Then as the ship's A. I analyzed and interpreted the data; a shock went around the bridge. A visual representation of the enemy ship appeared, and it filled the entire bridge.

With a size and girth that would have intimidated the titans of old, the ship stood as a mockery to the laws of physics. It stood twenty miles long by eight miles wide, a monstrosity that the frenzied Leker crew first mistakened for an asteroid. Yet there was no error, for this great ship was a colony vessel. It bore with it millions of men and women desire to make a new home for their race. Untold admiration went through the Leker Bridge, as the reptiles appreciated the sheer power of such a vessel. For the first time, doubt and uncertainty surfaced through the Leker crew.

They wondered if they could truly take such a thing down, could it even be defeated. Even Grimar stood watching with wonder as the ship moved through space. He had been expecting a cruiser or maybe some rogue pirate, not a monolithic titan! He could only wonder how many innumerable man hours went into its construction, or what kinds of weapons even a primitive ship of that size would have.

Yet Grimar stood fast in his determination. A probe to his home world had already been sent, declaring his destruction of the vessel. For his own pride and self worth, the price felt compelled to attack.
