(Page 2 of 2) Galactic Warfare Chapter 5 by Thomas Pelletier*and we loose another human, to the forces in this universe more evil then anyother* he thought, reaching up yet again to his shoulder, he gripped the handle of the knife and ripped it out of his shoulder. The blade glinted the sharpend edge of it gleaming with past blood.
"You" he spoke with his dangerous smirk covering his face, pointing with the tip of the blade at the man he now came to call a ally he spoke once more,
"Must keep this tell my return." He spun the blade made of his own brother, and let it fall into the humans hand.
*I might make it back, but if I dont he should keep that.* He thought walking out of the room.
"Old man" He spoke softly seeing the old human, the man nodded understanding instantly, they clasped hands and Sathis turned walking to the docking area.
*This shall be a interesting mission* He thought chargeing up his ship, It was not named, it had no number and was unidentified, the way he liked it.
He let the ship start up and he flew out into the Star filled night, Sighing as he felt the familiar joysticks to the ship in his palms. He geared it up and began shooting at all of his race's own ship's taking them down as he flew to the rescue of the ship, to the crew that he didnt know, didnt assosiate with, but was willing to save without a word.
Ariah woke up minutes later. She hadn't hit her head that hard but there was some dried blood around her scalp. She looked around, everyone was dead. Some had heavy equipment over their bodies, others were pierced. Sparks flew as circuits gave out and even more wires fell. With a small curse she sat up - painfully. She pressed the comm system button and asked Lucius, "Hey, you have room for one more person don't ya? Would you mind picking me up sometime." Then without meaning to say it over the comm, "My friggin' bloody head hurts. Why do I always get the head wounds?" Several doctors had reported her to be paralyzed after one horrible battle between her ship and three ships of Zerith. Of course, back then her shields had been in better condition. She sat there on the floor letting go of the comm button. Ariah felt all the power fading out of the ship, even the oxegyn. "Lucius, hurry up." Many called her a veteran, but she sure didn't feel like one.
