Many thanks - and thanks for looking at the Xlibris site.

The wording was intentional but a [the] sounds better.

Yes I believe I can edit both the book description and short author bio.

I'd send you a PM but you seem to have those shut off. Anyway, delete when you feel like it if you feel like it.

I popped over to the xlibris.

Do you control the xlibris description? It seems to have a missing word in the last sentence of the book's description.

" only [the] stuff of myth and legend."

Thought I'd mention if you had any control over it you could try to fix.

      No offense.

Sorry to take so long to reply, I've only just seen your message.

Yes - its a physical book that Amazon show on their site and print on demand (POD) for anyone who wants to purchase it.

Also I can buy copies at a very substantial author discount for onsellng myself. Which I do to friends and associates (providing them with author signed copies at modest prices)

It's done by Amazon Createspace and is all done internally -they don't outsource it.

Generally I've been happy with them.

Apologies again for the delay in replying.

Hey, what's up? I was reading your posts on self publishing, and I had a couple questions about Amazon. First, on your book's page, it reads like it's a physical book. Is it, and do they print it for you, or did you find a printshop and send them copies?

I have 4 published collections of short sci-fi stories and two published sci-fi novellas - all of which can be found on Amazon under my name. I've been a regular contributor to both the Antipodean SF and the Beam Me Up Podcast sci-fi sites. This includes a 5 part "Trathh" story arc on Beam Me Up.

I also wrote an alien hunter series (now a novella) for the former Golden Visions Magazine and have been published on the Bewildering Stories site.

writing, soccer, rugby league, and Australian Rules Football.
