Definitely not a problem :). Your husband has definitely cracked my top 5 authors list, if not my top 2. I do not think I have seen a negative comment about any of the books in the Riyria Revelations, and I expect that they will become more and more popular. I will be sure to post my thoughts on The Emerald Storm when I finish it.

As for Avempartha, I've commanded my parents to hunt it down for my birthday. I apologize for not ordering it immediately, but sometimes you just gotta dump the spending on Dad. :D

I did read it and it was fantastic, a welcome break not only from the usual derivative clutter but also from a lot of new epics that despite having fine creative grounding try to be too "doom and gloom." I love TCC's clever world-building, particularly its irreverence for genre tropes (dwarves in ghettos—WHAT?), but as important to me is that it doesn't try to be huge. While it certainly possesses a sweeping story, TCC is praiseworthy for its brevity alone! I can tell you I vastly prefer three hundred tightly plotted pages to this, this, or this. Good old adventure fantasy that dares possess an intellect and creativity is in my opinion sorely lacking these days, so I really appreciate your husband's work.

Hi Robin. Godmage here, we spoke briefly over at Shelfari. Glad to see you weren't pulling my leg about joining SFFW. Not that I thought you were, mind you. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and welcome.
