I like to write fantasy short stories, and plan on, some day soon, writing a fantasy novel. The only thing is, I don't have the slightest clue on how to get any of my work published, beyond the non-profit online publishing. I am a member of The Poster Board Kingdom at: http://www.fantasynews.net/pbk and so far that is where I have been able to quench my thirst for writing. But I want to do more. Any advice?

There are bunch of self publishing websites you can post your work on chapter by chapter (basically drafts). You can get very good honest reviews, and the readers, and there are a lot of editors from diff publishing agencies that are also looking for good novels to publish. The more popular you get on those websites , the better chances you can get published.
But you can also slf publish your books on amazon and barbes and nobles too.
But the first option is the best one.

@Elfa - the original post was posted back in April 27, 2000, almost 16 years ago. I doubt Ogrim is still around.

However, in the spirit of...something, I'll move this to the Writing Forum.

No, no worries. I just thought you should know. I'm never quite sure why some threads get resurrected. I'm guessing the system gave you that post in some search? Just curious. :)
