Thank you! With any luck, I should be able to get The Crow by August or September then. I do believe Hong Kong is more likely to ship the UK version than the Australian one. I'm trying to hold off reading The Riddle until I get The Crow. I was extremely upset when I finished The Gift and found I had nothing else to read. :p

im partial to the darren shan books myself!

my library only has the first few so im waiting on my brother to borrow the rest from his school library. (im up to the 10th)

Oh yeah, this is a book cover thread...

i know i'll tell a story!

I know it's wrong but I judge books by their covers. I first spotted "The Gift" in Borders and decided to read the blurb because it had a cool cover (The dark, greenish (i think original) cover) After I read the blurb and realised it was an epic fantasy I went on to read the first few pages. I was then hooked and begged my parents to buy it for me. Good thing I did! Just think... I may never had read "The Gift" if it's cover was pink or had some gay design on it.

p.s Is Darren Shan the authors real name, or did he write his books under that name to give them that special feel? (you know what i mean)

oh, if anyone can answer my ps question then please do so on the "what else do you read thread" If you do that we may be able to chat about Darren Shan there.
