thats a great idea i hadnt thought of that connection at all.

Another possibility could be that Hem discovers he has to play the treesong with Maerad. we know its also called the split song (i think its called the half something as well - bad memory) and as Maerad and Hem were split apart at a very young age it could show the way they have rejoined/rediscovered each other. It could be quite symbolic because Pellinor was the first school to be sacked. etc.

does any one else think that thats blurb has quite a lot of spoilers in it......... im not complaining,( cos i want to know!)........ but ....... could the people not write one that didnt give away the fact that turbansk is overrun, hem, saliman and zelika surviving, hem spying and having a vision! blimey! why didnt they just tell us the vision and the ending!
dont you think that you just gave some of it away. i didnt want to read the spoiler and yo just wrote some now that is unfair :mad:
