I don't really know, maybe we'll find out! I never really worked out what it was on the cover of thte Gift, maybe I missed something! :rolleyes::D

Didn't think of that. But it wasn't how I pictured the medallion. I thought more of the brooch Maerad had, but that was meant to be in the shape of a lilly? It confused me slightly! But I'm not overly fussed as loads of book covers don't relate to the book at all! Would be nice to know though . . .:rolleyes::D

I'm about 90% sure that at some point Alison mentioned that the artist intended it to be Maerad's Pellinor brooch.

Yes, I'm pretty sure I remember something like that too. Which is annoying because the brooch is supposed to look nothing like that. Oh well, I just modelled Ardina's ring on the illustration...:D
