Question (this is more about Dernhil than Cadvan) - When the Hulls visited him What did he do that insulted them and what does Cadvan mean about the mind thing....if it's not gonna be in the books later

Dernhil was making a counterspell (you could tell he was using magery because he was glimmering with light). The Hull would probably have thought he had complete control of him, hence his anger. And the mind thing does turn up later, just as an aside: Bards can, if they need to, kill themselves just by using the powers of their minds. Though obviously this doesn't happen except in very extreme circumstances.

yeh and when she was being taken nearly dead to the winterking why didnt she just kill herself by the bardic suicide thing ? or was the sorcerer guy stopping that as well?of course this is really a very stupid question as she couldnt kill herself because the books would end... but she didnt even think about it!

When you get it don't rush through it or youll have to wait for ages for the next one to come out. :)

but i suppose u r reallywant to read it, but if u do that (read thru it quik.)don't read the sample chapters, until a couple of weeks before it comes out.

if u read the sample chapters it makes it worse!!! A LOT WORSE!!
believe me!!!!!

Hi y'all

as Mearad has Elemental blood can she like Lady Ardina transport her self as L.A. did to the Weywood?

No, she can't (though it would make things easier for her if she could!) She can do things that Bards can't, like transform matter, but she can't do everything that Elementals can, as she is not an Elidhu as such. (I'm going to write a little bit about magery and Elemental magic for the appendices of The Crow).

And Maerad didn't kill herself because, deep underneath, she didn't want to, however despairing she might have been.

Sorry about the torment of waiting...! A year isn't SO long... :D
