Welcome Eamane!! Yes.... we're all a tad obsessed with Cadvan it can get a bit fiesty sometimes.... But how can you not love him and not want him and Maerad to get it on?
I've only read the Gift and The Riddle 5 times each which is a pretty weak number if you hear how many times other people have read it

I have no idea how many times i've read the Gift, but anyone who's been on the forum long enough will remember the day my copy fell apart :D. I've only read Riddle twice, but hey, i only got it in March and i am in yr 12, i have to spend SOME time on school work you know :D
Ah yes, that was Days of Our Bards, a fanciful piece of half @$$ed fanfic :D
H*LL YEAH! Maerad and Cadvan all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
BTW still happy 'bout North and South  :D

Well I dunno wat it's supposed to mean but when Cadvan said Arkan and Nelsor were "lovers" I assumed... well... that they were... um... together? In love? Boyfriend and boyfriend?

Yep - they were lovers! As it says in the Appendices, the Bards didn't consider homosexual love aberrant, and in fact some of their romantic songs featured famous pairings of men or women. All part of that central mystery, "The Way of the Heart".

I like the fact that homosexuality is excepted in the books.Im not homosexual myself but i think they should be excepted and not punsihed and the churches shouldnt try to convert them.

I think we will. (And I hope we will, but thinking and hoping are two different things. :p)
