Well Phoenix, I suppose you can, the whole reason this thread was started was because in the Intro thread guys started telling each other what instruments they played, so I thought it would be good to start a thread about Us and the music we make.

Bridie, does Ollie have such a deep voice.
Ollie I chatted with my wife and told her about your bass, and she told me that the register for Bass in a Youth choir is higher than an adults choir. That would explain the Bass part. Talking of Bass has any off you had the oportunity to hear a Contra Bass sing?? I did recently, it is awesome, feels like the very earth singing.

My wife is a remarkable pianist, and because her piano was so old we went for bust and bought her the only upright that Steinway make, a Steinway K. Yes it's second hand, there is no way I could afford a new one. Did you also know that SA is being drained of it's old piano's by none other than the UK. There is a huge market for antique and Old piano's there. Interesting

antique pianos ARE big in the UK-there are some fantastic shops hidden away-you can wander around for hours-I ended up playing every one in the shop. :D

i love my chemical romance, muse are ok, im not much of a Nickleback fan.
I love Panic! at the disco and fallout boy, evenesence, snow patrol, and loads more:D

MCR are great, as are Evenesence and Snow Patrol.I'm not keen on Fallout Boy though-I only like a some of their stuff. Bullet For My Valentine are more my kind of thing.and I hate to say it but I have a thing about Slipknot..:o
hmm..Gerrard Way...drooll

Hey Bella and Pig. I'm with Starlily on this everyone has musical talet. The trick is to find which one is yours. here in SA there is a lot of emphasis on music. The kids get to try all sorts of instruments. My son is now grade3 piano, but in the not too distant furture I want him to start on drums, her has the most uncanny snese of rythym. That is if he wants to as well. :D
