I see. Anyway, I thought this week's ep was the best one yet.

What did you think of the last one, 5/11? Interesting. It's clear what the writer's POV is. It's hard to be a scientist when the religious people around you are seeing visions and they are not meant to be hallucinations.

I thought I'd drop in here and let you know I watched the first episode and diddn't bother with the second (cause the boss wanted to watch something else), too much "artistic liecence" for me . I'm not sure it would be called blasphemy , though they could have done a better job of being more real and a little less political ie. the nuns/vatican part . Just the way I saw it , doesn't mean I'm right but I'm seldom wrong

I agree with you on the politics. I think the show is interesting as entertainment. My concern is that it is meant to be more. I am still waiting for the answers to the questions I asked of Glaser, the writer/director. I think I may be waiting until the end of days....

No pun intended, of course. I find myself more interested in the story surrounding the boy and Fred Durst than I do with the religious aspect of the thing. I'm still following the search for the baby, but I think some of the other parts of the story are more exciting. Some of the jail scenes are pretty cool to watch.

I agree. I believe that they anticipated a much stronger public response to the religious aspects though. All in all, it is a Hollywood production, as I said from the beginning. There is nothing profound going on. Still, it is entertaining, but not compelling in any serious sense. I am not on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode with the fate of the world on my mind.

The 4th episode was pretty darn good, I thought. That's the one that definitely kept me in for the long haul. I'm expecting a climatic finale tonight. Should be fun to watch.
