hello there

So I have been reading these posts for a while, and must make a comment about Silvia's daughter. I was sitting up reading the Naming (cuz i'm from america) for the 100000th time and started thinking

about the 2 unknown dead girls that are in the book. Clavia, silvia's daughter and the chick that was killed when cadvan released the monster against Dernhil (can't remember what it was called and just lent the book to my sister). I think that they could be the same girl, perhaps Cadvan called her by her truename when he talked about her to Maerad ( think it said somewhere in the books that to tell someone yer truename is a sign of great trust). Tho i guess that silvia would probably not be v. nice to Cadvan if he was responsible forr killing her kid.

so am i just crazy?

I don't think Clavila and Ceredin are the same girl. Clavila died from a horse accident and Ceredin from the Revenant. If they were the same girl, I think Cadvan would have been more unhappy at the mention of Clavila at dinner in Innail. But of course, there's always the possibility that they were!

Um I dont think its possible sorry to rain on your parade but a horse accident and a reverant attack is very diffrent dont you think and why would he lie anyway can you clear it up alison

No, I don;t think it's the same person either, or otherwise it would just be too confusing for my mind...
I didn't realise Silvia's daughter, Clavia had a thing with Dernhil...

Do you think that Dernhil fell for Maerad because she reminds him of Clavia too? I mean, it is possible, that not only did Maerad fill a gap in Silvia's mind, but also a need for love in Dernhil's heart...
