No, I don;t think it's the same person either, or otherwise it would just be too confusing for my mind...
I didn't realise Silvia's daughter, Clavia had a thing with Dernhil...

Do you think that Dernhil fell for Maerad because she reminds him of Clavia too? I mean, it is possible, that not only did Maerad fill a gap in Silvia's mind, but also a need for love in Dernhil's heart...

no, Alison's already knocked that theory back, it was a while ago tho, she said Clavila and Derhil were never romanticaly involved and i'm sure she said that they were never attracted to each other either.

I don't know..people have fallen in love for worse reasons. Besides people love to try to "fix" damaged people. Mearad certainly qualified.
