an army of Pellinor lovers, thats funny, and yet quite poetic, but surely should be Annar, not just Pellinor, cos of Gent and Lirigon etc??

True my friend so true. . .it should be Army of Annar lovers . . .but i thik it doesnt hav the same ring to it. . .u can decide for yourself. :D

Guys we've had this argument in relation to Cadvan. although we all agreed Maerad would be an unknown talent.

But yes Wenham looks a good candidate but so do others. like the ones mentioned on this thread ( http://www.sffworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10470 )a while ago now when we were just starting to accumulate our small army of Pellinor Lovers. (Gem you should remmeber this convo)

I'm a bit confused.... but does Anne Rice had a thing for the name Lestat, or are the Lestat's in 'Queen of the Damned' and 'Interview with the Vampire' the same vampire?

okay gem allow me to explain. the whole Vampire Chroniclees is based around teh character of Lestat and yes they are the same character in IWIAV and QOTD. But tom Cruise did not want to play Lestat in QOTD so they got the other huy to do it instead. . .undersand now?

Wats it got to do with movies? Lestat is the central character of the book series . . .they just chopped and distroyed QOTD by mixing it with ther books in the Chronicles. . . .

why on earth would someone 'chop' up a decent book just to put it with another? it doen't make sense, a book should stay as it is, otherwise it could completely ruin it
